At the 11th Indian Horticulture Congress 2025: an international meet themed “Horticulture for Inclusive, Equitable & Sustainable Growth,” held at the University of Agricultural Sciences, GKVK Campus, Bengaluru, Karnataka. Dr. Suchismita Jena, Deputy Director of Extension (Horticulture), Directorate of Extension Education, Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT), and Co-Principal Investigator of the RESILIENCE-UPSCALE Project, was awarded the Best Oral Presentation Award.

Dr. Jena received the award for her compelling presentation titled “Cluster-based Adoption of Poly Mulching for Climate-Resilient Vegetable Cultivation in Odisha.” Her presentation showcased innovative approaches and field-level outcomes from the RESILIENCE-UPSCALE Project, which promotes sustainable and climate-smart agricultural practices among smallholder farmers in Odisha.
